  • Emus are large, flightless birds native to Australia, known for their impressive speed, which allows them to outrun predators. Standing up to 6 feet tall, they have long legs, soft brown feathers, and can sprint at speeds of up to 30 miles per hour. Emus primarily feed on plants, seeds, and insects, and they play an important role in their ecosystem by dispersing seeds. Despite being flightless, their strong legs and ability to cover vast distances make them resilient and adaptable creatures.
